VideoChair's Challenge to the Class of 2013
On May 9 in GlycoFi Atrium, courageous members of Thayer's class of 2013 competed in a preliminary Sumo wrestling match to determine who would face off against Board Chair Terry McGuire Th'82 the next day. On May 10, the winner of the preliminary match, Rodrigo Amboss, faced off against Terry ... and won!
Terms and Conditions
IF the Class of 2013 beat the Class of 2012's Annual Fund participation rate of 73% (they did),
THEN Terry donates $25,000 to the Annual Fund AND wrestles a student challenger (he did).
IF the student wins the wrestling match (he did),
THEN Terry also matches student pledges dollar for dollar (he's doing that too)!
