PCI-2014: Apply for a Travel Grant and/or Registration Waiver
Thanks to the National Science Foundation Office of Polar Programs, a limited number of travel grants are available for students who are U.S. citizens and who are first author on a submitted abstract. Specific eligibility requirements and instructions are below:
- Applicants must be students or early career researchers at a U.S. academic institution. High school students, undergraduate, masters, Ph.D. students, and postdoctoral fellows are eligible.
- Applicants must have submitted an abstract, with themselves as first author, prior to filling out a travel grant application, and must be the author presenting the material.
- Recipients must be willing to respond to a web-based survey following PCI-2014, and to submit a brief description of the benefits of having attended the meeting.
Application deadline extended to December 6, 2013
Notification of Travel Grants Awarded: December 15, 2013
