Students test their gliders in the Atrium during Thayer's first Summer Engineering Workshop.

Students entering grades 11 or 12 in the fall of 2014 who are interested in exploring engineering, working collaboratively, and being creative are invited to apply.

Admission will be based on your personal statement, courses taken, and a teacher recommendation. We are looking for students who are interested in gaining a better understanding of engineering in general, and engineering at Thayer, in particular.

Preference will be given to students who have not attended a previous Design it! Build it! workshop since the main goal is to introduce high school students to engineering.
